Laser Cutting Machines for Textiles
High-speed textile laser cutters: work areas up to 1800×2500 mm, adjustable 180 to 300W laser, cutting up to 150,000 mm/min, and smart vision with automatic recognition. Ideal for sublimation and garment manufacturing.
Laser cutting is the natural complement to dye-sublimation printing: it cuts printed pieces along their contours with ±0.5 mm precision, seals the edge of synthetic fabric to prevent fraying, and eliminates manual cutting processes.
Our line includes the Pro 1825 (FW-1825PRO) with 6 servo motors and a large water-cooled laser head, the fully enclosed panoramic Max 1820 with total smoke isolation, and the Fw 1816 with smart vision that automatically recognizes printed contours. All cut materials up to 2 mm thick.
With work areas up to 1800×2500 mm and cutting speeds up to 150,000 mm/min, they are the solution for sportswear manufacturing, flags, soft signage, and fashion.
Frequently asked questions
Why cut fabric with a laser instead of a blade?
The laser seals the edge of synthetic fabrics as it cuts (no fraying), follows printed contours automatically with smart vision, requires no sharpening or mechanical pressure, and reaches speeds impossible for manual cutting.
What materials can it cut?
Polyester, lycra/spandex, sports fabrics, flags, tarpaulins, lace, and synthetic and natural textiles in general up to 2 mm thick. The up-to-300W power also handles materials such as synthetic leather and some thin non-textiles.
Does the vision system recognize printed pieces automatically?
Yes. The smart vision on the Fw 1816 detects the contours and registration marks of sublimated pieces and adjusts the cut automatically, even if the fabric was slightly deformed in the calender.
